Perhaps nothing is as mysterious, or as certain as our return back to our Creator. And while it is a guarantee for all of creation, we often fail to reflect and understand the journey of death in the appropriate manner. Upwards of 1/3 of the Qur’an is dedicated to commentating on the life beyond this one, in an effort to demonstrate to the reader of its significance. But why speak about death? Why not speak about life instead? Why do I fear death when it is a reality that is more certain than life? Join Sheikh Faiyaz for a full day course as we reflect on these questions and more. We hope to cover an academic discussion where we will discuss the different stages of death, and the levels of the hereafter as outlined by the Qur’an and tradition of the Prophet and his family.
